Back in January I was asked by Healogics, a national outpatient wound care management center, to judge their art show called Transformations in Healing.  The theme of the show was to embody a personal or social aspect of an emotional and/or physical healing. The work had to illustrate positive transformation that would uplift and inspire. I had the opportunity to evaluate a substantial body of local work of various media and aesthetics and was pleased to see the interesting points of view from the participants. Some of the work reflected the artist’s own experience, a captured moment of their struggle and their personal victory. It was humbling to read through their stories and gain insight into their “Transformations in Healing.”
